The Dark side of the moon: enter the album

ROLE: Concept and Environment Designer/Artist

CONTEXT: Experiential Concept Design

FOCUS: Narrative translation, Spatial Storytelling, Mood

Concept

A fully immersive, multi-sensory experience allowing guests to move through Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side of the Moon track-by-track, translating sound into space.

Directional Decisions

Grounded in synesthetic interpretation, the project emphasized translating music into visual, tactile, and atmospheric elements, creating a distinct identity for each song while maintaining overall cohesion.

Process

As creative director, initiated collaborative sensory mapping exercises where team members defined each track through color, texture, sound, and emotion. Synthesized these into concept art, spatial design, and exterior architecture for the experience.

OUTCOME

A conceptually rich and visually unified experience that highlights my strength in translating abstract ideas into immersive environments.
