About Charli

Charli Lawrence is a themed entertainment designer and visual storyteller based in Los Angeles, currently studying at USC. Her work explores how narrative, space, and sensory design intersect to create immersive, emotionally driven experiences.

Working across exhibitions, escape rooms, themed attractions, and interactive installations, she moves fluidly between concept and fabrication—developing visual worlds while also bringing them to life through hands-on building and material exploration. Her roles have spanned creative direction, concept design, scenic painting, and large-scale fabrication.

Her practice is rooted in atmosphere and feeling, with a focus on how texture, color, scale, and multi-sensory elements shape the way people experience a space. Influenced by music, storytelling, and visual culture, she approaches design as both an artistic and collaborative process—one that values iteration, adaptability, and thoughtful execution.

Through her work, she aims to create environments that feel immersive, intentional, and alive.
