Concept
A themed mini golf experience inspired by stepping inside a fairy tale book, blending whimsical storytelling with interactive play.
Directional Decisions
Shifted from a realistic visual approach to a stylized pop-up book aesthetic based on creative direction, emphasizing exaggerated curves, layered forms, and storybook dimensionality.
Process
Iterated on hole designs through feedback cycles, translating notes into physical form using hand-cut wood fabrication. Collaborated under tight timelines to co-lead the construction of a 10+ ft centerpiece tree using wood, chicken wire, papier-mâché, and hand-painted detailing, finishing with a weeping willow canopy of individually tied strands.
OUTCOME
A highly attended and successful installation that strengthened my ability to adapt creatively, execute large-scale builds, and collaborate under pressure.
